War Rages in Iran: All USA

With day four wrapping up after the United States and Israel launched a joint operation against Iran, the outlook and results are beginning to take shape. The United States and Israel continue to fly hundreds of aircraft sorties over Iran after achieving total air superiority almost immediately following the initiation of the attacks.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated yesterday that the purpose of the American operation was to eliminate Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities and destroy its navy to ensure the safety of shipping lanes. Rubio explained that the attack was carried out because Iran continued to pursue its nuclear weapons program while using ballistic missiles as a conventional shield to conceal it. He also warned that the worst of the attacks were yet to come and that the operation’s goals had not yet been fully achieved.
Rubio also insinuated that the timing of the attack was influenced by Israel’s plans to strike and that the United States could not allow Iran to retaliate against American forces without a preemptive move. He insisted that the attacks were necessary and inevitable. Donald Trump, in an interview today, suggested that it might have been the other way around—with him personally pushing for the operations to go forward. The lack of clarity within the administration leaves this point in question.
Israel has continued its offensive, responding to a northern threat from the Iranian proxy Hezbollah, and has reported significant success in both Iran and southern Lebanon.

This conflict appears to be going well for the U.S. and Israel. In terms of personnel, they have reportedly eliminated the Ayatollah, as well as much of Iran’s government and military leadership. They have destroyed the Iranian Navy and crippled its ability to launch missiles going as far now, as to encouraging the populus to institute regime change and take control of the country. For its part, Iran has launched waves of ballistic missiles across the Middle East in an attempt to retaliate. Most of these missiles have struck civilian infrastructure in countries that were either neutral or sympathetic to Iran’s cause. While Iran has killed six American service members and injured more, it has achieved little in the way of meaningful military success.

This needs to be wrapped up quick before the midterms so we can swivel off this with a victory and get as much public support before the end of the year. This wasn't a super popular war but if it drags on, we're going to have problems.
Great, we handed a nuclear power control over an important strategic region of the world. Who really gained the most from this war? It certainly wasn't America. We should have pushed for lower balanced regional power including Iran into the economy, now what's the plan exactly in Iran? Is there one?
The is a usable issue in the mid-terms. This is widely unpopular and directly against what Trump ran for in 2016. It doesn't matter too much though, once we take back congress at the end of this year we bring this administration to a grinding halt. We're going to impeach everyone btw
