Cease Fire Confusion

With the President’s timeline for energy destruction in Iran ending Tuesday night, Trump announced just a half hour before that a negotiated two week cease fire was being finalized:

The Iranians the put out a response of their own agreeing to the deal and the foundation for continuing negotiations:

The cease fire was mediated thanks to the efforts of Pakistan, whose foreign minister also announced the deal and further talks to be taking place:

Several missiles were still fired from Iran into Israel but this was widely regarded as a failure of communication within the badly equipped Iranian forces and given leniency. However Israel did not recognize the inclusion of Hezbollah in Lebanon as part of the cease fire:

Although strikes from Hezbollah we’re not taking place after the ceasefire for one reason or another, Israel conducted their most aggressive bombing raid of the war so far:

After this took place Iran became outraged and insisted that Hezbollaha in Lebanon had always been included in the deal and without this concession they reclosed the strait:

Ath this point there is mixed reporting with most major outlets like CNN and Fox reporting the strait to be closed and the White House refraining from comment at this time but maintaining the strait needs to be open for the deal to continue.
